Welcome to the official website of the GIA Network, the volunteer association that supports young Italians in Australia. Our goal is to strengthen the Italian-Australian community through social, professional, sporting, and institutional events. We offer a network of support and opportunities for the integration of young Italians into Australian society, providing essential information and assistance. We actively promote Italian culture and language. We are here to accompany you on this exciting adventure in Australia, offering the support you need to connect, grow and realize your potential.
OUR GOALS
YOUNG ITALIANS IN AUSTRALIA: INTEGRATION, SUPPORT AND COLLABORATION
- To foster the integration of Young Italians in Australia into the Italian-Australian Association System, offering support and guidance during the integration process.
- Support the work of Italian Institutions in Australia and promote Modern Italian Language and Culture.
- Run an Information Desk dedicated to young Italians newly arrived in Australia, providing them with resources and assistance to ease the transition and adaptation to the new context.
- Provide a safety net for Young Italians in need of assistance, offering a safe and welcoming environment where they can turn for support in different areas of need.
- To foster cultural and social integration, to create a network that connects the different generations of Italians in the Australian territory, promoting interaction, sharing of experiences, and collaboration between young people and people of different ages.
